Painting and Print

Art has always been the joy and focus of my life. As a full-time artist, I explore the world with curiosity and openness. Always observing, learning, and connecting through creative expression. From an early age, I was encouraged to experiment with many mediums, taking lessons beyond the classroom and developing a lifelong passion for art. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Art and a Bachelor of Science in Art Education (K-12) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Since then, my work has been exhibited in juried shows, solo exhibitions, and group shows across the U.S., and is held in private and public collections both nationally and internationally.

I build compositions in layers, using color, pattern, and drips to mirror the complexity of life. Vibrant hues celebrate joy, while nature-based tones ground the work in a sense of belonging to the natural world. I work across acrylics, oils, alcohol inks, and watercolor, each medium lending its own energy to the canvas. Whether painting plein air in the Florida sun, capturing the spirit of an event, or working in my St. Petersburg studio, I am most inspired by the ways people connect with my work. Hearing what others see and feel in my paintings is one of the greatest gifts of being an artist.
