What is an Artist Enclave?
The Old Southeast Neighborhood is proud to be a designated Artist Enclave Overlay District. Overwhelmingly supported by Old Southeast residents in a 2013 vote, the OSE Artist Enclave designation was granted by the City of St. Petersburg in 2014.
This special designation permits Old Southeast artists to enrich our neighborhood by using their residences as work studios, artist lofts, galleries, and instructional spaces. The Old Southeast is one of only two St. Petersburg neighborhoods with an Artist Enclave designation (Historic Kenwood is the other).

Calling All OSE Artists
Are you an artist or a craftsperson who lives in Old Southeast? If you are an artist in any of the following categories, we have many ways that we can support your efforts. You can be included in the Artist Directory, participate in the Annual Studio Tour, Community Holiday Art Market, teach a class with the Young Artists Program, or be part of a local outreach community event.
- Visual Arts (painter, print maker, drawer, sculptor, potter, woodturning, jewelry maker, glass maker, craft artist, and photographer)
- Performing Arts (musician, composer, playwright, choreographer, and dancer)
- Literary Arts (creative writer and literary translator)
- Applied & Design Arts (architect, landscape architect, engineer, urban designer and planner, interior designer and decorator, industrial designer, graphic designer, and fashion designer)
- Media arts (filmmaker, video and audio artist, multimedia artist and web-based designer)

2026 Studio Tour I October 24th, 10 AM
OSE Artist Enclave annual Studio Tour offers artists an opportunity to display and sell work in their home or studio. Please email artistsofose@gmail.com to share your name, contact info, and talent to request to be included in our “Tour Map of Studios.”
