The Old Southeast Neighborhood Association has traditionally held a number of seasonal gatherings such as the summer sailboat race and cookout and a December holiday party, as well as several annual events.

OSE's Huge Annual Community Yard Sale is back! Multiple families selling treasures and specialty items. Come find a variety of old and new must-haves and have fun meeting the people of Old Southeast.
Saturday March 18, 9 AM – 1 PM
Join your neighbors for CareFest and help beautify Old Southeast! We will meet at Old Southeast Market to clean up Thrill Hill, Third Street, the marina area, 22nd Ave and Bay Street and Beach Drive. These are the main traffic areas where trash and debris is left.
The Old Southeast Community Garden has been SOLD! Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 9am-Noon at 2121 Beach Dr SE, volunteers will have the gates open for the plant extravaganza. This is your last chance to get a piece of history, a treasured plant from the OSE Community Garden. An array of amazing plants, some rare or native, will be available free or priced to go. Bring your pot, shovel and hand tools as some plants are in the ground.
OSNA held its first-ever Garden Contest during the month of April in celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day. With four strong nominations of beautiful gardens across the neighborhood, a panel of judges evaluated overall design, plant diversity, plant health, water and weed management, plus creativity and uniqueness to pick a winner.

Hop your little ones over to Old Southeast for an egg-cellent Easter celebration! Festivities will include hunting for hundreds of prize-filed eggs in Lassing Park, a magical special guest, potluck picnic, and of course a visit with the Easter Bunny!
OSNA conducted a Neighborhood Pride Decorating Contest during the month of June. The online showcase featured photos of décor all across OSE submitted by neighbors.

Every year in April, neighbors of the Old Southeast Neighborhood bring their plants and cuttings to the shade-filled parking lot of The Chattaway Restaurant for the annual Plant Swap.

OSNA will be sponsoring the Old Southeast Artist Enclave Tour again this year! Come see why the City of St. Petersburg named our Old Southeast neighborhood an official Artist Enclave where artists can create and market their arts or crafts!
The Old Southeast Neighborhood is magically transformed during the month of October. Glowing ghosts loom over houses. Bungalows boast front yards full of skeleton bones. From wicked witches to creepy cobwebs, OSE is filled to the brim with Halloween spirit. Tis the season to eat, drink, and be scary!

Polish American Society – We have not defined the Member Appreciation part of this event, however, this will also be our OSNA Board election.

After the walk, there will be socializing, donuts and drinks. Each year, we host a Lantern Walk. The walk begins at the Bayboro House located at 1719 Beach Drive SE, St. Petersburg, FL. We walk a few blocks around the neighborhood and then return to Beach Drive for donuts and socializing.
The Old Southeast Neighborhood Holiday Party is one annual event you do not want to miss. Traditionally held on the second Saturday of December, hundreds of neighbors mix and mingle at this holiday hootenanny featuring a potluck dinner, a deejay and dancing, a raffle, and an appearance by the man in red himself - Kris Kringle.

For three years OSNA has put on a new event in December –– the Holiday Golf Cart Parade Extravaganza. Influenced by the desire to spread holiday cheer amid lockdown measures during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Holiday Golf Cart Parade Extravaganza has become a popular way to celebrate outdoors. Fun, quirky, decorated carts spirit Santa’s wagon around the neighborhood spreading holiday cheer and children’s treats.

Hosted annually by the Bayboro Community, the Live Nativity event occurs in December the weeks prior to Christmas. Christmas is the time when we remember the birth of Christ.
